Processing and Memory
The PowerEdge T640 supports up to two 1st or 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with up to 28 cores per CPU. Memory capacity extends to an impressive 1.5TB across 24 DDR4 RAM slots, making it ideal for memory-intensive applications.

Storage and Expansion
With 16 small form factor (2.5") bays - supporting both SAS and SATA drives - the T640 offers substantial internal storage capacity. Storage options are highly configurable with multiple RAID controller choices including PERC H330, H730P, H740P, HBA330 or Software RAID S140. The server provides up to 9 PCIe 3.0 expansion slots, allowing for extensive customisation possibilities.
